Animal and Human Health
Animal, environmental and human health are connected. Through a One Health approach our projects range from establishing effective and safe vaccines to surveillance of infectious diseases in animals and humans.
Food Security
Due to climate change and COVID pandemic policies there is an increased effect on sustainable food security and supply this includes the current honey bee and avian influenza crises.
Transmission management
Infectious diseases are transmitted through air, water and contact. Transmission management is key to reducing spread and prolonged outbreaks. Our work includes managing the transmission of SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 in humans and American Foulbrood in honeybees.
